Daily close
Run the accounting close at the end of the day and your national sales are credited to your BAICV account.

International cards
Sales on international cards are credited to the account about 4 days after the transaction.

Good practices
Accept payments securely.
- Always prefer chip and contactless; use the magnetic stripe only when there is no alternative.
- Keep POS receipts for at least 12 months, as proof in case of a query or dispute.
- Never charge the customer a fee for paying by card.
- Reconcile transactions daily and check the accounting close.
- For signature payments, confirm identity and compare the receipt signature with the card's.
- Do not store sensitive card data and respond on time to receipt-copy requests.
